WARNING: This is a required step, If you do not do this, Your orders with product from ecom buddy will not be captured. Again, We will not be responsible for this! Follow the guide and make sure you sync your products and delete ones that do not sync because it might not be in Vibranium
Ecom product buddy no longer exist and as we have launched the Vibranium system, there are changes you need to make to make sure everything is in the right order. One of the problems of migrating is that of migrating with your existing products. Thankfully, we have a solution in place for you and we have made it easy to move your products.
Products that you have imported using the eCom product buddy app can be migrated into the OJMD vibranium 3.0 once you are approved to use it. The products must meet the required terms to be able to migrate.
Requirements before migration
- Uninstall eCom Product Buddy App: This is very important. You no longer need that app in your store. Make sure that you have uninstalled the ecom product buddy app from your shopify app store list.
- Check All SKU: Now, the key to migration is SKU. Your products must have same SKU as the one one eCom product buddy. If the SKU does not match, It will not be imported.
- Delete Manual Variants: If you have created a variant in the past manually with a product from ecom product buddy. Please delete that variant and return the original ecom product buddy SKU to its place.
How to migrate or re-sync products
Migration or syncing is easy. Only those that have been approved can perform this action. If your account has not been approved, You cannot do this.
- Open OJMD 3.0 App: Now, go to your app list and open the OJMD Dropshipping 3.0 app.
2. Go to legacy settings: Once you open the app, You will be able to see your dashboard. once. Go to settings > legacy settings. Just as the screenshot below
3. Migrate SKU: Now you will be able to migrate the ecom product buddy SKU. Again, before you do this make sure that you have all the correct SKU in your store with ecom buddy. Products with no OJMD SKU will not be imported. If everything is ok, Click on the migrate button and the process will start. See screenshot below:
This process will take awhile depending on how many products you have on your store before. Once it is done, your new products will be with the vibranium and if you have orders, it will be noticed.
How will i know if my product was synced and where can i see the list? The list of SKUs migrated will be shown in your app including the Shopify product link for your verification. See the screenshot below
What If my product does not import? – The item could have been discontinued and not available in Vibranium. If a product does not import, You can contact us using the contact widget on this website or delete the product and re-import them using the new app!
What if the product no longer available on Vibranium? – It means it has been discontinued on Vibranium. You will not be able to dropship the product. You can now delete the products from your store. You will also receiver an email once the sync is completed.
What products will be skipped? Now, if you by any chance have modified the SKU or created your own variant while using eCom product buddy, That product or variant will not be recognized by vibranium. The best option here is to delete the products and import it with Vibranium. If you have an active ad, you can redirect the link to the new one.
